Training Programs

GMT Corporation makes a significant investment in training its workforce. This on-going commitment to training is prevalent at all levels of the organization.

The "GMT CNC Quick Start Program" is a perfect example of the training commitment. This program was developed to help new hires in our Production Division receive the basic training needed to be successful in their jobs. The Program lasts eight weeks and is divided 50/50 with classroom training and on-the-job training.

Other examples of past training programs include: Shop Math, Blueprint Reading, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, CNC Programming, Pro-E, CAD, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Introduction to the Internet, Introduction to the Computer, Job Safety Analysis, Ergonomics, First Line Supervision, Total Quality Management (TQM), Communication Skills, What Managers Do, A Guide to Human Behavior, Government Regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and many more.
