Brief Company History

GMT Corporation was founded in 1973 as a small, privately owned machine shop. Through our commitment to our customers and our employees, we have grown into one of the largest and best equipped contract manufacturers in the Midwest. We have continued to remain a privately owned, non-union company. Currently, we provide the expertise of 125 employees, a total of 230,000 square feet of manufacturing space and have over 75 machine tools. GMT provides single manufacturing needs as well as other value added services from our two divisions; Machining and Fabrication. Industries presently being served are agriculture, construction, pump and pumping, automotive, defense, and railroad.
